defense secretary last week, it emerged the degree to which Barack
Obama’s administration had closed its ears to Mattis’ weekly warnings
about Iran’s destabilizing role in Yemen, Bahrain, Iraq and elsewhere
during his tenure as America’s top military commander in the Middle
East.

unwillingness to acknowledge the evidence of their own intelligence
agencies and militaries concerning Iranian interference in Yemen and
the region.
