Maryam Rajavi emphasized the need for urgent international action to condemn such criminal killings, conditioning continuation of their relations with the regime on the end to the death penalty. She further called on the world community to reject the religious fascist regime ruling Iran.

Maryam Rajavi: The Iranian regime’s stepped up resort to mass executions is a desperate bid to curb social upheavals
International community called to censure criminal executions, reject Tehran’s religious fascist regime

The growing trend of mass executions since the beginning of July which has amounted to at least 57 executions so far is a desperate attempt by the clerical regime to counter the rising wave of public discontent and prevent the spread of popular upheavals by creating an atmosphere of fear and terror.

This was announced by Maryam Rajavi. She called on the nation, particularly Iranian youths, to voice their protest against such arbitrary executions and express their support for and solidarity with the families of the victims

Recently, Iranian media published reports on seven million child laborers, as well as a significant number of children abused in the drug trade.

Children in Iran suffer from poverty, where government affiliated elites steel millions of dollars

Despite having rich oil and gas fields, culture, and civilization, the youth and especially children in Iran are still deprived of basic human rights.

An Iranian child has to grow fast to learn the harshness of the life of poverty

Today in Iran, the common belief is that child labor is 'normal.'  Parents regard their children as additional sources of income.  Some families attempt to combine school attendance with excessively long and heavy work.

At a very early age, children often separate from their families to earn a few cents per hour and are consequently exposed to serious hazards and illnesses.  You may find them on the streets of large cities like Tehran, Esfahan, and Tabriz in large numbers.  They simply do not have enough time to go to school and improve their future prospects.

Dear brothers and sisters, Your efforts to confront this regime are legitimate, and your struggle to rescue all sectors of the Iranian society, including Arabs, Kurds, Baluchis, Azeris, and Persians from the oppression of the Velayat-e Faqih rule, as was said by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, is legitimate and an imperative. Therefore, advance with God’s blessings.

In the name of Allah the Merciful
And peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and disciples
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi
President Ahmed Al-Ghozali
Ladies and gentlemen,
Peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you.

I am honored and thankful once more for inviting me to participate in your annual meeting. It is the forum where the sons of Iran, who have left Iran due to the injustice of the Velayat al-Faqih rule, meet with representatives from many countries of the world who have suffered the terrorism of this government, the largest sponsor of terrorism. This meeting is to remind the world of the crimes of this regime against its citizens, its neighbors and of its threat to regional and global security and stability.

Dear brothers and sisters,
During last year’s gathering, I chronicled what brings us together, which is not only geography, but also the bonds of humanity. There were Arab tribes who settled in Persia and created family bonds with you as well as Persian masses who came for the Haj pilgrimage and established familial ties with us.

We are also gathered behind the statement 'There is no God but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God.' We share a historical legacy that contributed to the advancement of human civilization.

The Iranian resistance movement, led by the National Council of Resistance of Iran which counts as its members human rights groups and the People’s Mojahedin-e Khalq (PMOI/MEK), experienced a similar resurgence within Iran itself as the Iranian political landscape experienced what can only be described as a significant earthquake during presidential elections this year.

What was different this year was that all of MEK members —nearly 3,000 of them—were safely evacuated to a welcoming Albania as part of long-delayed resettlement program and escaped the clutches of an Iranian regime that seemed hell-bent on eradicating any sign of an indigenous Iranian resistance movement.

In a dramatic cinematic touch, a satellite feed from Tirana, Albania of the 3,000 resettled MEK members was beamed into the main Paris rally to the delight of the participants and vice-versa in what could be considered the world’s largest video conference call.

The atmosphere bordered on giddy as the MEK logged several positive developments over the past few months, not the least of which was the survival of their besieged members in Iraq.

The movement benefitted from a sea change in political fortunes with the departure of the Obama administration and the incoming Trump administration taking a decidedly harder tone with the Iranian regime, along with a Republican-controlled Congress that has made it a legislative priority to re-impose economic sanctions on Iranian regime for its ballistic missile program and sponsorship of terrorism.
